Thanks for delivering what I wanted, I really appreciate it

Inacio Burkle Maron • 1 year ago

Loved how they made fun of themselves by describing how ridiculous the creation of cards in the middle of the duels they did in the previous animes was.

ThatMan666 • 1 year ago

If one can't laugh at yourself, there's probably a mental issue going on.

Ny3 • 1 year ago

The ending was already banger but wow this version. I have a feeling they made this episode for themselves lol.

Shmarfle • 1 year ago

I love how meta this whole thing was, like how they were calling out the instant card creation, and that Yuudias' drawings of Yugioh monsters are just the really old normal monster cards.

the ending <3

Man I want to hear the full version of that ED
So fvcking good

You can find it on Spotify.

The only good part of this damn filler like episode was when they acknowledged how damn nonsense It was to get cards out of meteors like they did in Sevens LOL. It is a good thing that they can make fun of their own show. Other than that the episode was entirely meaningless especially after the last episode giving us basically NO answer to the tons of questions they created.

Also I would like to have a Yuamu episode again soon, I feel like her character is kinda on the downfall lately

Nero32 • 1 year ago

> damn nonsense It was to get cards out of meteors like they did in Sevens LOL

Zexal also kind of did that, making cards out of place. So, BOTH Zexal and Sevens.
And with Crazy duels, it can be applied to all previous YGO shows.

About Yuamu maybe yeah... She felt a bit boring at times.

Hoshimiya Eiji • 1 year ago

Call me crazy but I would prefer changing a card by magic instead of a meteor having cards inside and one of those meteors literally hitting a duel disk but not destroying it alongside Yuga and somehow the card entering at the top of his deck.

In Zexal while Yuma was DEFINITELY bullshitting there with Astral at least you can call it ''magic'' and that is it. It is not like Barians themselves do not have the ability to draw whatever they want anyway so while Yuma extra bullshitted there a bit, the general group of the series have simillar abilities and It is explainable.

Meanwhile meteors having Fusion cards inside them is quite bullshit and even If we were to accept them, a LITERAL meteor dropping on top of Yuga, He managing to stop it with his damn duel disk and the fusion card literally entering at the top of his desk and all of this happening without Yuga, his duel disk and his deck getting completely obliterated (he did not even suffer an injury) is literally against ALL logic. You can't even argue magic like you could with Zexal

tactical game similar to dueling = dungeon dice monsters
card written into existence the moment its drawn = zexal's shining draw/super saiyan card maker
cards made from space debris and meteors = SEVENS & 5Ds
is that too much cheating for you while rubbing a pot of greed = pot of greed eternally being on the ban list for being considered too op for being an extra draw (despite the fact that these days people bring out half their decks on the first turn)
also, the aliens/monsters at 7:24 are Gate Deeg or Ghoul with an Appetite, Akihiron, & Change Slime.

Hoshimiya Eiji • 1 year ago

Pot of greed is eternally in the banlist because there is quite simply NO downside to it at all. It is never a dead draw, never useless, has no restriction. It is ALWAYS a plus 1 card advantage. Thus every single deck in existence has every reason to run it since running it is nothing but an absolute advantage to you. Even the most popular and good hand traps can have situations that they are no use OR they are a dead draw as drawing them is not a solution to the problem. But not Pot of Greed, drawing it means +2 card so you get another draw as If you did not draw pot of greed and + 1 card on top of it.

It is a card that EVERYONE would use without almost any exception so obviously It is banned. Though I guess this might be hard to understand when you only talk about the brainless rush duels where you can play your entire hand and still draw + 5 next turn

If nothing good, we at least had a sexy Police girl from this episode.

She's an annoying little brat 🙂

I miss Studio Gallop...

The ending was something else

SynCloud • 1 year ago

Legitimately almost fell asleep while watching this. I've never done that before, in any of the previous Yugiohs. Anyways, I was rewatching Vrains not too long ago. And I've watched Go Vs Playmaker (their duel in season 2) Go vs Earth. And BS vs Lightning. Man, I miss those types of duels. Sadly, we'll never see duels like those ever again. Instead, we'll be getting duels where there is nothing but tribute summoned monsters attacking each other until someone wins. And it’s so sad to think this is the future of all Rush duels. How can anyone look forward to the next duel?

loyal serena • 1 year ago

you realize they ALWAYS do a filler episode after a arc in bridge yugioh right?
" we'll be getting duels where there is nothing but tribute summoned monsters attacking each other until someone wins" well yeah no shit, fusions & maximums havent been shown yet. and whats wrong about the future of rush duels being simple? its not sad at all, its actually a good thing.

Testament • 1 year ago

Ye, StudioGallop leaving the YGO franchise is one of the biggest losses I think the anime community has suffered from. Look at 5Ds, ArcV and Vrains, you will get some of the best duels animation can provide. Here... damn, people wanted simpler, now we do have simple. -_-'

Tripple-A • 1 year ago

I have nothing against some less story heavy episodes but this was just boring. Nothing happens, no real duel, not even decent comedy, nothing. It's like they were trying to say "Creating an anime is hard, cut us some slack.", as if that would excuse bad writing.
They should have just carried on with Sevens instead of rushing the ending.

IStandAlone Roronoa Zoro • 1 year ago

Well, its no wonder anime today are so bad. They are made to be too rushed and skip too much content! This needs changing if we ever want better anime! :(

SynCloud • 1 year ago

The only thing here that needs to change, is the studio. Bridge clearly doesn't know how to make a good Yugioh, considering their so-called Yugioh 20th anniversary anime was nothing but a disappointment

Frank Harris • 1 year ago

I judge anime on the number of comments and yugioh has fallen low

Joe Faker • 1 year ago

Very charming episode, more engaging than most they've come out with recently

Thanks for your kind words

Vincent • 1 year ago

6:42-6:58 Man, they're dissing how old YGO was and calling it "non-inspiring" ☹

ThatMan666 • 1 year ago

Times change, for better and worse

Ascalibur • 1 year ago

Well this episode was....something I guess. Like how they poked fun at the meteor thing in SEVENS, even they can acknowledge how ridiculous it is. Next episode looks pretty good though.

typeOU et co • 1 year ago

they also acknowledged real time card creation's ridiculousness which is in every.single.ygo.anime

lavi2112 • 1 year ago

Wow the ending is so much better, the previous was also good but now with small changes it's marvelous.

After looking at the final product, I can say that it was absolutely worth every penny.
